Downtown Logan is a great place to spend part of the day!
I enjoyed the Gallery Walk last Friday — lots of fun venues! Downtown looks beautiful in the summer. I love the hanging baskets and banners the Downtown Alliance provides. It was also the annual sidewalk sale, and there were shows at the Lyric, Eccles and Utah theaters as well…
There is something of an independent food renaissance happening too! In addition to the Gardener’s Market on Saturdays, we now have a great cluster of local restaurants on Center street and Main that are new in the last few years. The Crepery just moved downtown, joining The Waffle Iron, Stacked Pancakes, and Even Stevens. And of course we have the old favorite, Great Harvest. The city provided small grants that were matched by the owners to improve the facades of some of these new businesses.
